Delhi Public School R N Ext. celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti as Guru Parab to mark the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ,in the form of a beautiful morning assembly on 13November 2019. The students of classes 1 to 4 displayed his portrait, worshiped and also exhibited a short play on Communal Harmony. The students marked the Parkash Utsav with various activities. The little ones came dressed up in traditional Punjabi attire and lit diyas in front of Guru Nanak's Dev Picture.They also shared useful information relating to the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev besides singing Shabads and holy hymns. Obeisance was paid to the first Sikh Guru by the children singing Guru Bani.The celebration ended up by Prabhat Pheri and Prasad distribution by the students.
