At DPS we tried to ensure that students imbibe qualities of famous personalities who have left an indelible mark on generations to come. A character portrayal competition was organized on 9 Aug on the theme of "Bharat Ke Veer" for classes 1 & 2 . Children portrayed various characters with dialogues, props & costumes. The competition made children aware of contributions to our world by these esteemed personalities. In continuation of the Independence day celebration, this fancy dress competition taught children the importance of our freedom and also enhance their knowledge about our golden history and freedom struggle. It was a pleasure to watch the toddlers dressed up as freedom fighters also it was overwhelming to see our little ones speaking confidently about the character they were depicting. All the performances were admired as it arouses the feeling of patriotism among the little once and allows them to live their fantasies by dressing up and acting like their favorite characters.
