Republic Day

The students of DPS R.N. Extension organized a special assembly on 25th January 2019 to celebrate the 70th Republic Day. The day started with the Principal Ms. Pallavi Upadhyaya leading the school with a prayer invoking God’s blessings on our motherland India. The was followed by a short speech on the significance of the day. The day underlines the fact that we are free in every sense as our constitution ensures to safeguard our freedom and rights. Next, a medley of cultural programme comprising songs, dances and drama showed the passion and love the children had in their hearts for the country. The pledge was read out proudly by the students to show their patriotism and loyalty towards our flag. To make this occasion even more special, the Volume -2 of the newsletter ‘Horizon’ was released. The children sang the National Anthem with more energy and vigor than usual. A day such as this never fails to swell our hearts with pride for being Indian.
