Astronomy and the Big Bang

Astronomy is a natural science that deals with the study of celestial objects such as stars, plants, comets, nebulae etc. On 17^th December 2018, the first session of ‘Astronomy Club’ for the current session took place at Delhi Public School R. N. Extension, Morta. The module was related to the introduction to the various terms of astronomy. The students were briefed about the forthcoming session and their importance. The concept of birth and end of universe was introduced and the prevailing theories of universe were discussed. Terms like ‘Red Shift’, ‘Big Bang Theory’ were explained to the students in depth. The students got their badges and curriculum booklets at the end of the session. The students enjoyed the session. It was an enriching experience.
