Exchange with Lebanon - Project Ancient Games in Modern Times

A Skype session was arranged between Bourj International College which is a co- educational school in Beirut, Lebanon and DPS R.N.Extension on 18 th February, 2020 as part of the ISA activity under the project “Ancient Games in Modern Times”. Students of classes 5 and 6 took part in the interaction. Students from both sides wished each other warmly and introduced themselves. First our students performed certain Yoga ‘asanas’ and explained the health benefit derived from the exercises. Then the students from Bourj International College gave a beautiful display of gymnastic exercises and one of our student also reciprocated this with a display of artistic gymnastics. A friendly match of chess took place on skype between both schools. The interaction was quite interesting and the students enjoyed it a lot. They bid goodbye to each promising to keep in touch through mails.
